Sky Island Alliance Jaguar Program
Workshop Description:
The region known as the Sky Islands of southeast Arizona merges tropical and temperate climates, where a wide diversity of plants, wildlife, and human cultures live. Due to the rich diversity of
life and spaces, we are lucky to live amongst some of the most charismatic top predators in the world. Historically, Grizzly bears and Mexican-gray wolves roamed in this region, and wild jaguars
have been recorded recently in the Arizona-Sonora border region. In addition, a wide array of birds of prey and reptiles also share Arizona’s unique environs. Read
